Clean Energy Depot Refund and Warranty Policy


REFUND POLICY

If you are not satisfied with one of our products, you may be able to obtain a refund.  However, no refunds will be accepted without prior authorization and must include the RMA (Return Material Authorization) number.  Additionally, any product returned must be in brand new, excellent condition, and packaged in the original manufacturer’s carton with all corresponding hardware and documentation. 

Returns for refunds must be shipped with prepaid freight and insured via the carrier of your choice to arrive back at Clean Energy Depot within 30 days of delivery.  Shipping charges will not be refunded unless an error was made by Clean Energy Depot in shipping. 

Before returning an item, you must obtain an RMA number.  To obtain an RMA number, please call us at 800-980-0588 or email us at support@cleanenergydepot.com. 

Please note:
•    No refunded returns will be accepted on installed items.
•    No refunded returns will be accepted beyond 30 days of original delivery. 
•    All refunded returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. 
•    The cost of replacing any items missing will be deducted from the refund.

WARRANTY POLICY

All of our products are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.  Please contact the manufacturer’s customer service number to obtain warranty repair service.  Check the instruction manual that accompanied your product for updated contact information.  Note that most manufacturers require the following information:

1.    Serial number
2.    Purchase date
3.    Warning, error, or panel fault message
4.    Description of the problem

If you need help getting in touch with the manufacturer or aren’t sure what the terms of your warranty are, you may contact our customer service at support@cleanenergydepot.com.

DAMAGED ITEMS

Please carefully inspect all packages for damage. If damage is visible, reject the shipment, be sure the driver makes note of the damage, and contact Clean Energy Depot within 24 hours. Please call customer service at 1-800-980-0588 or write us at support@cleanenergydepot.com to initiate a claim. We will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship a replacement as soon as possible.  You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.

How to Receive a Refund for a Return

For Credit Card Orders - Your credit card will be credited the amount of the purchase, less shipping charges and restocking fees, within 3 days of receipt of the returned merchandise.

For Orders Paid by Check - A refund check will be sent to the billing address for the amount of the purchase, less shipping charges and restocking fees, within 1-2 weeks of receipt of the returned merchandise.
